Pricing & Payment

  • 1.5 hrs tuition is $40/per class

  • 2 hrs tuition is $50/per class

  • 2.5 hrs tuition is $60/per class

  • 1 hr private tuition tuition is $100/ per hour (one on one session)

  • Tuition is due on the 25th day of each month for the upcoming month’s classes (e.g., tuition for February classes is due by January 25th).

  • Payments received after this date will incur a $50 late fee.

  • Tuition is non-refundable and will not be prorated for missed classes due to illness, injury, or other personal reasons.

  • If you sign up in the middle of the month pay prorated tuition by calculated by multiplying ‘Price per class’ (see pricing chart above) by the number of classes

Issuing Payments

Students can pay tuition via Art Academia’s online booking system, personal check or Zelle. Please note that online credit card payments are subject to 1-4% service charges as determined by third-party payment vendors.

Tryout Class

Prospective new students can take one free tryout class before enrolling.

Unless explicitly stated in the class description, procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student. To make sure you have what you need, we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best

Students Policy

Class Attendance

Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes to maximize learning and minimize disruption for both students and instructors.

Tuition Policy

  • Tuition is due on the 25th day of each month for the upcoming month’s classes (e.g., tuition for February classes is due by January 25th).

  • Payments received after this date will incur a $50 late fee.

  • Tuition is non-refundable and will not be prorated for missed classes due to illness, injury, or other personal reasons.

Make-Up Classes

  • One (1) make-up class per month is allowed with at least 24 hours’ advance notice.

Vacations or Extended Absences

  • With one (1) week’s advance notice, tuition may be prorated if a student will be absent for two (2) or more consecutive weeks.

  • Specific absence dates must be provided at the time of notice.

  • Students are asked to pay a 50% deposit for classes missed due to vacation or extended absence. The deposit will be applied toward tuition and adjusted upon return.

Class Cancellations

  • If a class is canceled by Art Academia, you may either:

    1. Schedule a make-up class on an alternative day, or

    2. Deduct the value of one class from the next month’s tuition.


Art Academia is a place of learning, experimentation, self expression, and collaboration - as such, we ask all participants to treat the school, staff, and one another with utmost respect. All members of our school are expected to maintain a standard of behavior conducive to the academic spirit of learning. Any violation, including but not limited to physical confrontation, use of inappropriate language, destruction of property, or any other behavior deemed to be in violation of the school’s policies and/or standards of behavior may result in suspension or expulsion, and forfeitur of any remaining tuition.

Standards of Conduct


Withdrawal Policy

- Students must provide a withdrawal notice at least two weeks before their last day. If notice is not given, they will be responsible for two weeks’ tuition for the following month.
- Student are entitled to a 100% refund if a student withdrawal notice is received no later than 4 weeks before the session start date. Students withdrawing within 4 week of the start date are entitled to a 50% refund.
- Once a session has begun, no refunds will be granted for class withdrawals.
