for participating and being honored at this year's
"Zero Graffiti for a Beautiful
City" event held at the Grand Ballroom in
the San Francisco Hilton hotel.
The event featured prominent guest speakers, neighborhood
resources,
a social hour where people discussed the problem
and costs involved in
removing graffiti from public spaces and the art
work of our very own artists.
Guests were able to view our students' anti-graffiti
paintings and interact with
the young artists to understand the inspiration
and reasoning behind their
incredibly expressive pieces of art. The response
to our students' art was so
positive that they have all been invited to exhibit
their art in San Francisco
City Hall.
I would like to thank everyone who participated
in this event, it was a humbling
experience to see Art Academia students interacting
with prominent
government officials and being honored for their
incredible creativity
and passion.
Please stay tuned for the San Francisco City Hall
exhibition details to come
shortly.
