Q) How many students are there in each class?
A) There are no more than eight people per class; this is to ensure that each
student receives the individual attention that they deserve

Q) From what age can a student start painting classes?

A) Students from the age of seven and older are welcome to attend this class

Q) Are materials included in the tuition cost?

A) No. But catalogues and recommendations can be obtained from Art Academia
making shopping for materials easy

Q) Are adults allowed to take oil painting class with no prior experience?
A) It is highly recommended to take a drawing class first, but all students are
welcome to take oil painting classes. Because perspective, proportion and object
structure are discussed and explained before painting, drawing classes are not
required

Q) I know that Art Academia is a working art studio and has its own gallery, how do
students benefit from this?

A) By having a chance to study in a working art studio, students are able to observe
the entire art-creation process from sketch to final painting. Students and guests
are able to visit our gallery where a permanent exhibition displays the works of Inna
Polnar as well as a rotating exhibition of featured artists

Q) What is the difference between Academic Painting and Academic Drawing?
A) In the Academic Drawing class, more time is devoted to structure, perspective,
tone and composition of the still life, while the Academic Painting class focuses
mainly on color and different mediums of painting

Q) What is the Live Drawing and Live Painting class?

A) These two classes offer live models instead of the traditional still life
compositions. Models will be available for long and short poses to capture the human
form in action. Adults only

Q) How and where does the Landscape class function?
A) This class meets at local cities, parks and shorelines. Students are responsible
for their own transportation to and from the place of class
